Jenis perangkat lunak ini dapat juga mendeteksi dan menghapus virus komputer, asalkan basis data virus komputer yang dimiliki oleh perangkat lunak antivirus telah mengandung kode untuk menghapus virus tersebut.Contoh virusnya adalah Worm, Trojan, Backdoor, hacking, dll. Contoh antivirus yang bisa diandalkan dan menangkal virus adalah Kaspersky, Panda, Sophos, Symantec, Bit Defender, Ansav, SmadAV, AVG, AntiVir, PCMAV, Norton, Norman, McAfee, dan lain sebagainya*cara menangani virus computerVirus komputer merupakan program komputer ang dapat menggandakan atau menyalin dirinya sendiri dan menyebar dengan cara menyisipkan salinan dirinya ke dalam program atau dokumen lain. Efek negatif virus komputer terutama adalah memperbanyak dirinya sendiri, yang membuat sumber daya pada komputer (seperti CPU Real Time, penggunaan memori) menjadi berkurang secara signifikan. Hampir 95% Virus adalah virus komputer berbasis sistem operasi Windows. Sisanya, 2% menyerang Linux/GNU dengan versi kernel dibawah 1.4 (dan Unix, sebagai source dari Linux, tentunya), 1% menyerang Mac terutama Mac OS 9, Mac OS X (Tiger, Leopard). 2% lagi menyerang sistim operasi lain seperti FreeBSD, OS/2 IBM, dan Sun Operating System.

a. Use a handsfree device to reduce the electromagnetic wave. Even though it has not been clinically proven, electromagnetic wave can distrub brain cells and can cause cancer. Using cellphones for a long period of time can heat the ears.
b. Do not use the cellphone while driving. Besides it is against the rule, it distracts the driver's concentration. IF it is really necessary to use cellphone, use a handsfree device.
c. Do not use cellphone on a plane. The electromagnetic wave transmission distrubs the navigation system in the cabin that could cause a plane uncontrolled or lose direction
d. Do not use a cellphone in a gas station. The warning is because it can break the cellphones or the filling up digital devices in the gas station.

• UTP Cable (Unshielded Twisted Pair) it consists of a pair of plastic wrapped conducter and each is colored. The frequency ranges from 100 Hz to 5 MHz. A UTP connector is required to install a UTP cable on network card, such as RJ 45 connector. The cost of UTP is relatively cheap.
• STP Cable (Shielded Twisted Pair). STP cable is similar with UTP cable, except that it has double wrap. The middle wrap is a metal shield or metal foil to avoid electromagnetic interference. Other than that, STP cable connector and UTP cable connector are alike.
